1.Teachers
•Vietnamese teacher with a certificate from the Montessori Institute of America (MIA)
•Vietnamese kindergarten teacher with qualification in Early Childhood Education.
•Foreign teacher (Native English speaker)
•English teaching assistant
2. Accredited Montessori Programme
Half a day students will be taught Montessori program by Vietnamese teacher with a certificate from the Montessori Institute of America (MIA) and the other half hour with foreign language teachers (English) with a duration of about 2.5 hours (150 minutes)/ lesson and and 2 lessons/week. Students will learn and experience a variety of areas such as Practical Life, Senses, Mathematics, Languages, Culture (including Science, History and Geography) and Arts.
3. STEM Programme
The main topic of our STEM program is the theme of environment and nature, to develop naturalistic intelligence (one of the 9 types of Gadner’s intelligence). With the method of teaching through experience, children will participate in many STEM activities such as soil erosion experiments, experiments on growing plants in different lighting conditions, extracting essential oils from leaves and flowers, water purification experiments (observation of chemical reactions), garbage classification and practice of recycling, composting... Besides, the school is equipped with many functional rooms, botanical garden, animal cages... And offer many interesting picnic and extracurricular programs to help children accquire their knowledge better and create excitement for them when they go to school.
4. Physical education program
•Montessori physical education: Kinder Paradise Montessori programme follows PME (MONTESSORI PHYSICAL EDUCATION) curriculum, integrating fine and gross motor exercises. According to the Montessori philosophy, these are known as “natural gymnastic movements” exemplified by exercises such as standing with good posture; walking and developing endurance in walking; running, jumping, moving and lifting weights; balancing training….
•Dancing: Children will learn basic and advanced techniques of dancing art, develop professional performance skills.. Through dancing activities, students will nurture positive emotions and learn to express their personality, help strengthen health and practice endurance.
•Martial arts: With Vietnamese traditional martial arts, children will be able to build strength, quick reflexes, increase stamina as well as develop physical qualities: fast, strong, skillful. In addition, through fighting competitions, students can compete, boosting their confidence, courage and chivalry.
5. Music Appreciation
Music appreciation program helps children develop optimally their ability to perceive sounds, vocals, practice and enhance their ability to express rhythm, and perform melodies when using musical instruments by using visual elements. Students also have access to classical music through visual diagrams, instrumental ensembles, compose music from musical instruments.
6. Art and Craft
The main activities in the program include drawing, crafting, decorating, moulding, learning art works on different materials ... helping the children to have a holistic approach to the skills and knowledge of Fine Arts. Children will get familiar with shapes, colors, practice motor skills of wrists, fingers or experience three-dimensional blocks.
